The Central Florida Chapter of PMI is always looking to connect with other Orlando business and community groups through our various Sponsor and Partner opportunities. We view these opportunities as a long term relationship building exercise and therefore we do not accept one-off advertisement requests. As an event Sponsor or Partner, your organization will have the chance to make our 1100+ members, who represent numerous companies in the Orlando metropolitan area, aware of your company, your products and services. The mission of the PMI Central Florida Chapter, Inc. is to host a variety of events that allow professional project managers to promote the core values of the Project Management Institute through networking with other project managers, sharing project experiences, providing and receiving training, and supporting project managers in their certification efforts. As a not-for-profit membership organization, the PMI Central Florida Chapter relies heavily on dedicated members and vendor relationships for financial support. The Chapter, having served the Central Florida area for well over twelve years, is seeing significant growth and is increasing its popularity among local project professionals.

The Chapter is preparing to launch a number of new activities for members, many of which we expect will become ongoing monthly events. The purpose of providing these additional Chapter events is to support networking of course, but they will also provide members information about the latest Project Management process initiatives, tools and techniques and provide skills training through a variety of educational offerings. Our members tend to take advantage of it all. If your company has an educational offering for our members to purchase then a more traditional Sponsor financial support arrangement is for you. This is an exceptional opportunity to get your message and product offerings in front of this attentive and leading edge audience. If your product set does not necessarily involve a direct sale to our Project Manager members, but you would be willing to enter into a long term relationship with our Chapter and be more involved in helping us to develop and then host events for our members then a Partnering arrangement would probably be a better fit for you.

Our Chapter is also developing an active community outreach effort designed to connect the Chapter with more Orlando private businesses, educational institutions, non-profits and governmental agencies. We expect our Sponsors and Partners to also benefit from these efforts to include these firms and agencies that employ the skilled Project Managers we cater to into our PM network. This fuels both our growth and your opportunities to work with us.

  • PMI CFL does not design or create web advertising for display on our website. Sponsors and Partners are responsible for providing appropriately sized graphics for our various displays that are primarily electronic. Most Chapter advertisements are designed to accept up to 2-inch square graphics, logos or icons. Deviations from standard sizing of display graphics may be negotiated if it is possible.

  • All submitted items are subject to review and approval by the PMI CFL Board of Directors. The board reserves the right to refuse a Sponsor or Partner arrangement for any reason.

  • Sponsorships and Partnerships are implemented through a contract or agreement that must be arranged in advance.

  • Vendor presentations, when they are part of the mix must be kept to a 5-minute maximum. Presentation and handout materials must be approved by our VP Programs or VP Education.

  • If the sponsor collects a list of participants or performs an event survey, the Chapter will expect to receive a copy of the list.

  • Contracts with Sponsors will be structured to ensure that Chapter member participants receive a meaningful discount when purchasing a sponsor product.


We appreciate the interest in, and material support of, our Chapter by our various Sponsors and Partners whose participation allows us to conduct our member based operations. All of our contracts or agreements are treated as Chapter Sponsor or Partner arrangements for the period specified and are structured to meet the mutual needs of the Sponsor or Partner and the Chapter.

  • Opportunity to sponsor event specific emails that go out for PMP Prep Class

  • Maximum 4 sponsors allowed for Email sponsorship

  • Logo with link (size TBD) at the end of email

  • 4 emails sent to all members over two months

  • 3 classes * 4 emails * 400 members * 2 months = 9,600 emails per year (approx.)

  • $250 for 12 months

Event Sponsorship 

  • Evening program, other in-person events

  • Event page on the website will have sponsor logo, link and text area (155 X 88 logo, 550 chars for text, including spaces

  • Weekly emails to chapter members with sponsor logo & link (12 X 950 members emails approx)

  • 1 table provided at the event to showcase products/services

  • 5 minute presentation time at the event

  • Sponsor recognition by the host

  • Multiple sponsors slides in rolling display during networking time
